This necklace feautures a large and beautiful scenic jasper from Oregon. It is from either the Biggs or Deschutes area/deposits and masterfully cut and polished to a very high shine by lapidary artist Bob Wright.
The scene reminds me of mountains and adventure, travel and exploration, and as a result I have added the message 'FORTUNE FAVORS THE BRAVE' to the back of the pendant.
It is made from a combination of sterling silver and fine silver, with a patina added to highlight the details in the rope border.
The chain is 20" in length and made from sterling silver. The pendant is large (nearly 1.75" from side to side!) and has a nice weight to it.
