Cat Fish Necklace

This necklace features one of my enameled 'cat fish'. A fun and whimsical play on words turned into a colorful necklace! This design always gets a lot of attention and smiles in my local galleries and at art shows :)

The catfish is made of layers of glass enamel fused to copper and it hangs from a sterling silver chain. After making the copper cat fish shape I use a kiln to fire several layers of enamel and copper wire to create the design. I have accented the chain with glass beads. The large blue beads were handmade in Ghana from recycled glass bottles. I love the color and texture they have.

The necklace is just shy of 18" in length.
