This pendant features a Chiastolite gemstone bezel set into sterling silver.  Chiastolite is known for the naturally occurring cross shape that forms within the crystal.  The stone is a pinkish tan hue in contrast with the black cross shape.

I have hand stamped 'CARPE DIEM' (seize the day) onto the back of the bezel along with a smiley face.  This is a reminder to the wearer to do both! :)
