About Kathryn
In the fall of 2024 I began experiencing numbness in my right arm. By December 2024 I was surprised to be diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that had spread to my brain. This affected the right side of my body and by the end of January 2025 I was not able to walk or use my right arm/hand. My diagnosis is not curable, but it is treatable, and I have undergone radiation, chemotherapy, targeted treatment, and physical therapy. I will be continuing treatment indefinitely.
Thank you everyone: friends, family, customers, and strangers. I have never felt so much support and love, and it is humbling. THANK YOU.
I have regained my ability to walk and use my right arm and hand, thus allowing me to create jewelry again. As you can imagine, my diagnosis has given me a new perspective, and a laser focus on what is most important. With that in mind, you will see changes in what jewelry I am able to make or choose to make.
Hug your loved ones and focus on making memories with them. Do what you can to make the world a better place for everyone. Life is short and unexpected, so make the most of it and be kind to everyone you meet. :)

In 2002 I received my BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design where I studied Metals and Jewelry. I began creating my own collection of jewelry shortly after graduation.
Currently my pieces are handmade in Savannah, GA, and are sold online, as well as through a few boutiques and art shows across the country.
My jewelry incorporates a variety of techniques (fabrication, enameling, casting...) I primarily work in sterling silver, however I do offer a few brass and copper options. I am most known for the hand stamped messages which are found on many of my designs, as well as for my playful and colorful enamels.
I strive to create meaningful pieces that will be both fun to wear and empowering/comforting to the wearer.
