Fine Print

Shipping:

 

All orders will arrive in a small gift box tied with ribbon, or a small organza bag. I will also include an artist bio, so that the gift recipient (or you!) can learn a little about the handmade nature of my designs.

Ready made items are usually mailed same day or next day, up to one week from date of order. Custom orders will be mailed as they are completed, according to the time-line listed when the purchase was made.

I currently ship via USPS. 

I will ship to the address specified on your receipt. It is the buyer's responsibility to submit the correct shipping address during checkout. 
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, shipping charges for re-sending the package will apply.

For an estimate of when your order will ship, please reference the time frame I have listed within my shop policies or your receipt.

Delivery time with first class mail is usually is 2-3 weeks...sometimes less, sometimes more. All international packages are sent with first class shipping.

*Please be aware that you are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or tariffs levied after the initial US postage. These fees could be applied to your package at the discretion of your local customs officers/post office. 

Packages will be marked as 'merchandise' on the customs form, with the value listed. Please do not ask for your package to be marked as 'gift'. Mislabeling the package as 'gift' is mail fraud and puts us both at risk of jail time and large fines. This is not a risk I am willing to take for my family or business.

Delivery time with...
first class mail is usually 3-10 days
priority shipping is usually 2-3 days
express shipping is usually 1-2 days 

Orders will receive an email notification when I print the shipping label. I usually have orders in the mail the same day that the label is printed (always within 24 hrs).
For domestic packages there will be a delivery confirmation number attached to the email notification. Please realize that delivery confirmation is not the same as tracking. The message associated with your delivery confirmation # often will not change until a delivery has been attempted. 

If you would like to purchase insurance for your package, please let me know within an hour of your purchase. 


My official policy is to wait a full month from mailing before declaring a domestic package lost and 6 full weeks for international packages.

 

CUSTOM and MADE TO ORDER ITEMS:

Custom orders will be made exactly as discussed through email or as written in the comments section at checkout. Please make sure that you have the correct spelling, message placement, and correct size before submitting your order. I cannot accept returns on custom orders. Please allow up to 2 weeks from when payment is completed for your order to be made. (This does not include shipping time.)

Standard production time = 1-2 WEEKS

Production time does not include shipping time.

Occasionally I may have a question about your order, please realize that I cannot begin on the items until I hear back from you. This may affect the time line of your order. Please check your email, as it is my only way of contacting you. Your order will be on hold until I have all necessary information to complete it.


After I have received your order, changes might not be possible. For this reason, a fee to cover time and materials (usually $10-$20) will apply if the change requires me to start over on your piece. Changes to your order are not possible after it is shipped. 

If you order the wrong size, a local jeweler should be able to size ring(s) for you, or I can resize them ($20 fee, plus shipping to and from me) Due to the text on the rings, it is not always possible to resize rings without losing some of the inscription.

RUSH SERVICE:
If you need your order faster than the above time line, I do offer rush services for a fee. Please contact me BEFORE ordering to see if your deadline is possible. I will need to know what you are wanting to order, when you need the item, and the shipping destination. Rush fees *start* at $20 and go up from there depending on several factors.

 

METAL ALLERGIES

Most of my jewelry is created from sterling silver. Sterling silver is an alloy of fine silver and other metals (usually copper). There is no nickel in the alloy of sterling silver that I use.

Some individuals are known to have a body chemistry that will react to the copper found in sterling silver and gold. Commercially made sterling silver jewelry is usually plated with rhodium to act as a barrier between the wearer's skin and the sterling silver metal. I DO NOT plate my jewelry.

Finding you are allergic or having a skin reaction to sterling silver (green or black mark left on your skin) can be an unwelcome surprise, but it is manageable. The simplest solution would be to apply clear fingernail polish to the metal where it is touching your skin. Also, avoid trapping lotions/soaps/detergents/creams between your skin and the jewelry. The chemicals and minerals in these products can stay on your skin and react with the sterling alloy.

I cannot accept custom order returns on the basis of metal allergies/skin reactions.

If you are allergic and have purchased a non-custom item, please contact me within 1 week of your receipt of the item. Your return will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

 

RETURN POLICIES

My return policy is very simple. As a rule I want my customers to be happy customers. I cannot accept returns on custom items. All other returns will be considered on a case-by-case basis. You must contact me within a week of receiving your item.

Returns/cancellations will hinge upon the jewelry being shipped back to me in undamaged/original condition and are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

I cannot accept custom order returns on the basis of metal allergies. If you are allergic and have purchased a non-custom item, please contact me within 1 week of your receipt of the item. Your return will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
